Hawaii is a diverse collection of islands on the Pacific Ocean teeming with beautiful beaches, friendly people, and unpredictable weather that rains without a cloud in the sky. The Pack Your Bags teams participated in community care: homeless ministry, tutoring children, partnering with local churches, caring for the land, and much more.
It is not just a “fun vacation spot,” they have problems just like the rest of the world. There is a very high level of homelessness and poverty, especially among the native people of Hawaii. Outside perspectives of this place can withhold the truth of what God desires to heal them from and gift them in. Whether or not it may seem like a “paradise,” it is filled with individuals who need the love of Jesus, just like you or me.

NATIVE AMERICAN RESERVATION
We begin here. Before we reach those across the world, we reach the people right here in the Dakotas. Most recently, we have worked with Standing Rock Reservation (ND) and Pine Ridge Reservation (SD). On this trip, we partner with established organizations to reach these communities.
INNER CITY
Metropolitan areas offer incredible sights of massive skyscrapers, vibrant lights, and the hustle and bustle of city living. This trip is a full immersion into inner city life. Learn about poverty, various religions, children’s ministry, and street ministry.
ISRAEL
The Holy Land pilgrimage is the trip of a lifetime. On this trip, we walk in the footsteps of Christ and experience sites of the Bible - the Galilee region, the Negev Desert, and Jerusalem. Watch the Bible come alive!

“Through experiencing different types of ministries, the opportunity to lead, as well as step outside of my comfort zone, I was taught many valuable lessons that I certainly will take into the rest of my life and my future ministry. The most impactful part of this trip, however, was the people. We got to work out and live life alongside Hawaii children, teens, and adults at sports clinics. We had the opportunity to bless a homeless community and meet the incredible people that worked and lived there, and so many more people who gave us the experience of diversity in the body of Christ, and people whose eyes had begun to see Christ and the blessings he has for their lives.”
